Moral of this is to know if there is a fee for something you are asking for even if it used to be free. This is the second time I have ended up paying for something (first time at Ford in Rochester) that use to be free.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BYRON AUTO REPAIR!! They are honest people, fast working on the issues I was having with my car! They worked with me to get the right prices that I could afford & let me book back in the following week to finish the work! I would recommend them to anyone I know!
Now I don't live in this town, so I went to my local auto parts store to see what they charge (never paid there before) and I was told no charge. I was given the tool and told how to use it which was simple and took less than 30 seconds to do. And it gave the same reading I got from the auto shop. I was told options on how to fix it and chose least expensive and bought from that store.
It is a very friendly environment, & love walking in there to the warm welcoming staff that Byron Auto has. Great work, Great people.
They shouldn't even receive 1 star.... I have never dealt with such incompetence and people unwilling to work with a client or the insurance company. I had heard "not so great things" about them and they are truly living up to their crappy reputation. Estimate was $1,953... Had the car towed to Bob's Auto Body and saved $1,147.00 ... Something's not right at Byron Auto Repair.
Truly appreciate how they take care of their customers. Both my wife and I will continue to have our vehicles serviced here.
Stopped in for check engine light on and for 1 minute of work I was charged $25. Now I can't give a horrible review because I didn't 't ask if there would be a fee for something I have never paid for (at auto repair and parts stores) before.
